Highlights

Founder and manager of the business, leads the team, delivers assignments.

Role:  As well as managing the business and new business development, Andy manages assignments, delivers consultancy, training and coaching, and supports events and presentations.

Experience:  Andy is a "veteran" now of 250 consultancy, coaching and training assignments over 12 years.  A former project leader himself, he is an ex-general manager, and has a track record of raising organisation and delivery capability.  It was this mix of experience that helped him to see that the project management profession has been heading in the wrong direction, and that there remains a strong unmet need for high quality people, leadership and team development to be adapted for project organisations, and specifically for the world of the project manager.

Industry background: An eclectic Aerospace career with Rolls-Royce, British Aerospace and Airbus.  Starting out as an engineer, and then marketer, became a project manager, factory manager, and then business general manager.  With Coopers & Lybrand, and then his own firm Caracal Consulting, became one of the UK's leading consultants in project management and delivery, within new product development and innovation.

Qualifications:  Loughborough University Engineer, Warwick MBA.

In real life: Anything involving adrenalin, usually on rock, snow or the sea, and trying to stay just better at it than his three teenage kids.
